KRISS Vector Review

私たちのブログを訪問していただきありがとうございます。あなたがお持ちの場合DIYの要求は私達に電子メールを送信してください。

The Transformational Defense Industries KRISS Vector is one of the most interesting and innovative weapons I’ve used in a very long time. I have been very impressed with the design, ergonomics as well as the lack of noticeable recoil. This is an impressive design to say the least.

This weapon system has been several years in the making. Since the first prototype the company has tweaked the design several times until they had it completed to the companies satisfaction. The Vector is primarily aimed at the military and police market. The carbine version has also become popular with civilians since it’s release to that market.

There are several models available. I obtained the standard carbine semi-auto for this review. Other types are the SBR with a 5.5 inch barrel in semi-auto or in the (Special Operations) SMG configuration also with a 5.5 inch barrel. All models with the 5.5-barrel can be fitted with the KRISS suppressor. Of course a federal tax stamp and background check are needed for the 5.5-inch barrel and/or suppressor.

My test carbine has a 16.5-inch barrel with a folding/removable stock. The barrel comes standard with a full barrel shroud, which gives it a pretty intimidating look. If you didn’t know better you would think it was a suppressor☺ The stock is adjustable in length to accommodate the individual shooter. Using a set of included hex wrenches two inches can be added or removed from the stock length. A push button just to the rear of the ambidextrous safety allows the stock to fold and lock to the right side of the carbine.

There are two versions of the semi-auto carbine. The plain model comes with BUIS sights mounted on the upper Picatinny rail. A vertical grip is also fitted on the lower rail. This grip is hollow allowing the owner to store batteries etc. Each side has a removable portion for mounting a tape switch for a laser or flashlight. Just above the barrel a plug is inserted which can be removed allowing the mounting of the Surefire Executive series flashlights among others. Positioning the light here allows the flashlight to aid in aiming since it rides directly over the centerline of the barrel.

The Vector is chambered in .45ACP. The magazines are Glock model 21’s with a standard 14 round capacity. An adapter is available increasing the capacity to 30 rounds.

The deluxe model comes with an EoTech 511 with a mounted Surefire E1B 80 lumen light. A sling and mount is also included as is the GripPod for greater stability in the prone position. MSRP for the standard carbine is $1889.00 with the Tac Pac the price is $2779.00.

In the photo above you can see the primary operating controls. On the top left is the charging handle which folds out from the frame. Just under the charging handle to the right is the bolt release. Just under this is the magazine release located on the upper front of the receiver.

The illustration below shows how this innovative action operates to mitigate what minor felt recoil there is. The bolt is depicted in blue as it begins to move to the rear out of battery. The assembly, which holds the bolt and recoil spring, is depicted in green and shows the three stages of operation. The green assembly rides on dual rails milled into the sides of the receiver guiding the bolt as well. From complete compression the mechanism moves up under spring pressure canting the bolt 90 degrees and back into battery to fire the next round. As you can see the recoil forces are directed down rather than to the rear as most common carbines operate.

Takedown is very simple and can be completed in short order by removing four pins. The first two pins are at the base of the receiver allowing the operator to remove the bolt, recoil guide and spring. The two pins in the upper allows removal of the top half of the receiver. That’s really all there is to it. This is all that is required for easy access to all areas for cleaning. Reassembly takes replacement of these four pins and can be completed in less than a minute.
Range Time
After watching the demo of the KRISS compared to the HK UMP 45 I was a bit skeptical concerning the difference in recoil between these two fine weapons. The video comparison showed the H&K to have greater than 8 degrees of muzzle climb on semi auto compared to less than 2 degrees with the Vector. I was about to find out they are correct about the Vectors recoil.

The Vector has a large ejection port allowing the shooter to quickly clear any malfunctions.

Conclusion

There are several advantages this weapon has over others of it’s size and caliber not the least of which is the light weight, ease of maneuver and the ability to make repeat shots quickly and accurately. This is a real plus for those engaged in clearing buildings or operating in built up areas where repeated hits on target are very likely compared to other weapon systems.

The 45 ACP is a proven round with excellent stopping power. The only downside for the military user is more and more of the bad guys are wearing body armor. This is why some special ops units are training to shoot across the pelvic girdle then across the shoulders just above where body armor protection ends.

Even police officers are encountering suspects wearing body armor. It’s rare but it has happened. This is why my old unit dropped the HK MP5 in favor of the FN P-90.

On the other hand this carbine is a weapon primarily made for the civilian shooter. For the average shooter this carbine would work well for home defense or just about any other need outside of long distance shooting.

This is just one enjoyable gun to shoot. The innovative design certainly makes it a 21st century weapon. With all the available configurations there should be one of these that would serve you well.

Walther P99 Compact

私たちのブログを訪問していただきありがとうございます。あなたがお持ちの場合DIYの要求は私達に電子メールを送信してください。

Photo from the movie Underworld.

This is the Walther P99 Compact "Special Forsces" version from Maruzen.

The box

In the box, the gun is inside a non-sealed plastic bag.

The right and left side view.

The magazine comes with a removable grip extender for those with big hands.

The package comes with a mini LED light and under-rail mount.

As shown here attached.

The markings on the left and right side are really good. Comparable to the real one.

Grip markings are good too, only there are some miscolorations to the grip.

The cocking indications is painted in red and is very visible. Also the rear sight is adjustable using a flat head screwdriver.

The guns feels good in my medium sized hand..

I am always a fan of compact pistols and this definitely falls into that category, but I have doubt in buying it to be part of my collection.

Glock 18C from Tokyo Marui

私たちのブログを訪問していただきありがとうございます。あなたがお持ちの場合DIYの要求は私達に電子メールを送信してください。

The following is another photo review of the much coveted Glock 18C from Tokyo Marui. Based on some reviews that I have read, so far this is the best GBB said company, in terms of power, groupings and effective range. I have one and I just love it.

The box

In the box, the gun sits on a molded styropor. a little disappointing compared to the 1911 series which usually have a bed of cloth with themed camo.

The left and right view

Tokyo Marui markings on the magazine bumper

The usual Glock marking both on the left and side frame and slides. On the left is marked "Tokyo Marui Made in Japan" instead of the usual "MAde in Austria" markings.

Very nice and authentic grips, very easy on the hands.

Metal serial markings which also serves as a safety switch.

Black outer barrel and the standard picatinny rail for light or laser attachments.

Very nice copied ported barrel and slide.

White marked rear and front sight.

Authentic semi and full auto selector lever.

Removal of slide is needed in order to adjust the hopup.

Take down is very simple like the real one.

Comes with the usual bag of bbs, cleaning rod and magazine followers.

M.E.U. .45 ACP Pistol

私たちのブログを訪問していただきありがとうございます。あなたがお持ちの場合DIYの要求は私達に電子メールを送信してください。

This is a photo review of the MEU .45 ACP pistol from Tokyo Marui.
M.E.U. The 45 ACP automatic pistol United States Marine Corps.

The package, box design of this one is based on the desert marpat (marine pattern), which was originally used by the Navy Seals.

In the box, the gun and magazine sits properly in a bed of desert marpat cloth.

The right and left side view of the gun.

Comes with a standard stainless magazine.

The smal box contains the usual bag of bbs, the barrel bushing wrench, and magazine followers.

The Novak sights really look good, but it is hard to acquire target without white dots on it specially in lowlight conditions.

Rubberized checkered grip with a golden logo both left and right.

Markings on the left and right are exceptional

Slide stop, mag release, safety lever and trigger are all metal.

Ambidextrous safety lever

Military recoil spring guide.

Takedown is simple, standard 1911 takedown.

HK45 from KSC

私たちのブログを訪問していただきありがとうございます。あなたがお持ちの場合DIYの要求は私達に電子メールを送信してください。

The new Hekler &’ Koch HK45 ACP airsoft replica from KSC Japan.

Frame is ABS plastic, comes with one 29 round magazine. Using the System 7 developed by KSC for the GBBs. Chrono results range from 76-83m/s, which is average for KSC guns and and higher than Tokyo Marui's.

The box, comes in new silver instead of the usual blue from previous KSC guns.

In the box, the gun is inside a plastic bag. I am a little surprised on the discoloration of the magazine, but nothing major.

Comes with the large grip replacement for those with bigger hands, I have a small hand so the grip was just fine for me. It also comes with a tool for the grip replacement and of course the hop-up adjustment tool of KSC.

The left and right side view

The grip is nice to to the touch and feels right with my hands. Notice also the nice HK markings on the grip.

Another HK45 marking on the magazine bumper

The enlarge magazine release button which is nice considering that I am a lefty.

Very meticulous and accurate markings on the left and right side of the gun. The slide stop is also ambidextrous.

Safety lever on the left side, which is not ambidextrous which is a little bit disappointing, but real gun is not ambidextrous in that anyway.

Very visible white dots on the front and rear sight

Under rail for accessory attachment, flashlight, laser, etc.

Hopup can be adjusted by pulling the slide.

All in all, it is a nice gun. But since I am used to my guns with metal slides this one sounds so plastic to me. I would definitely buy this gun if the aftermarket metal slide comes out soon. But not yet, I can wait....

I am also waiting for the HK45 from Tokyo Marui. Then we will see which one.

PMAGS tested in cold conditions

私たちのブログを訪問していただきありがとうございます。あなたがお持ちの場合DIYの要求は私達に電子メールを送信してください。

TaylorWSO @ ar15.com dropped a loaded Magpul polymer PMAGS onto concrete in -30 degrees, feed lip first:

So to the drop test. I wanted to see what they could do in the cold. I dropped it from the same table (3′ high) I have dropped metal mags from on the range. If you drop a metal mag on concrete from the same height it will damage the feed lips as to be unuseable-but you can bend them back. I was planning on dropping them on all sides but it broke before I could try it. From the table, fully loaded, no cover, both feed lips shattered when they hit the concrete. I expected it to break/crack but these things shot off and rounds went everywhere. I stopped the test right there as didn’t want to try it with any others on the other sides. You can see in the AK HTF that if empty they do fine in the cold.

So what does this mean.

IF you drop ANY mag loaded on the feed lips it will be useless. The Pmags might survive during the summer but all metal mags will bent hot/or cold. The metal mags can be bent back.
The plastic shatters when cold (duh) it doesn’t just crack.
The result: cracked/split feed lips:

Some plastics becomes become brittle in cold conditions, so this is not surprising. The good news is that Magpul are not sitting on their laurels. Their latest version of the PMAG can survive a drop from 5 feet onto concrete feed lip first, fully loaded in -30 F. See this video shot with a high speed camera:

Barry Burton insignia in red

S.T.A.R.S. markings on the left side

Kendo markings on the right

New battle sights

Standard picatinny rail

Takedown: Remove the two screws as shown below. Third one is a dummy.

Tried to remove the rail by removing these two screws but it seems the rail is glued to the receiver

Test fire showed the sight to be very low (5m). First six shots are really low (in red) but very good groupings, within 2 inches. I adjusted my sights but still low (in green).

Chrono readings: 77-76-77-76-76-73 m/s

Overall Impression

I would say this gun would be a very valuable addition to your collection, if you are a biohazard fan. But if you are just plain airsoft gamer, then I would not recommend this to be use for skirmishes. The finish and overall appearance really look so good to be used in the field. This should go in your display case.

HiCAPA Custom Match

私たちのブログを訪問していただきありがとうございます。あなたがお持ちの場合DIYの要求は私達に電子メールを送信してください。

The New Tokyo Marui HiCAPA Match Custom. It comes with a silver colored box, but on the inside it is the same HiCAPA styropor box. It comes with the standard HiCAPA Manual and additional Match Custom cover page. The new shining magazine looks so inviting so we tested already and our chronometer shows a consistent power of 83 meter/second (room temperature), although we got a reading of 85-87m/s on an extended magazine. The double tap speed is almost the same as of the HiCAPA series.

The gun is a little bit lighter due to the cuts to the upperside and lowerside of it. The cut looks really good and in perfect symmetry. The fibre optic front sight looks great and it helps us aim in low light condition.

The package also includes an underside rail for light or laser attachment, can be installed using two screws which are provided. Although you can place the rail in its proper place, you still have to drill the holes for the screw, which I am a little disappointed why they made it that way. There’s also a groove on the lower part of the slide for installing rails for optics.

Another thing that they included in the box is a patch of nonslip grip tape, again the disappointment comes when I found out that there is no die-cutting on the tape. But it did come with a template for cutting it, so I guess Tokyo Marui is expecting users to do it themselves, Extra design templates are available at Tokyo Marui website.

All in all, is it a very nice and sturdy gun, another plus for Tokyo Marui. I would highly recommend this gun for IPSC beginners, who likes accuracy and speed. Although it still need a lot of mods and accessories to make this gun a really excellent IPSC gun.

This is the Real Desert Warrior from Kimber

And this is the one from Tokyo Marui

The sights looks almost the same but I was expecting white dots on it and there is none.

There is "Ops Tactical .45" marke don the left side instead of the Kimber logo.

Standard Hicapa 4.3 Outer barrel and recoil guide

Ambidextrous safety and hammer looks good too.

The under rail is detachable, the biggest diasppointment.

The grips looks really good, a big plus for Tokyo Marui.

Takedown is the same as Hicapa.

Overall, this is still Tokyo Marui and you get good value for your money. The big disappointment to me was they made it Hicapa based instead of 1911 based.

Finally a test that should get a few mysteries and myths out of the way. I am not saying RA TECH makes useless videos, not by a long shot, but most of them are quite specific and cater a very narrow audience. This one however should appeal to a much larger crowd...

Magpul, a Year in Review

私たちのブログを訪問していただきありがとうございます。あなたがお持ちの場合DIYの要求は私達に電子メールを送信してください。

From a financial point of view, Magpul has had an exceptional year. They got a $13 million dollar injection of cash from TCAP. Hardly a week goes by without a gun company announcing that they are introducing a new AR-15 model that comes from the factory with Magpul accessories. On the other hand, they launched no revolutionary new products and two key employees left the company.

Magpul iPhone 4 case.

Lets take a look at what new products Magpul introduced this year ...
January '11 - The SHOT Show announcement: iPhone case updated for iPhone 4.
February '11 - MOE handguard now available in rifle length.
March '11 - Shipping 5 and 10 round limiters. Introduced instead of the promised PMAG 5/10/15 round magazines.
March '11 - Magpul MBUS 2. The biggest new product of the year. Slimmer profile than 1st generation.

Magpul MBUS 2nd Generation

May '11 - Dummy 5.56mm rounds available in a new color.
May '11 - MOE+ and MOE-K grips accounted. MOE+ is has rubber overmolding. MOE-K has a slimmer than normal profile.
August '11 - MSA sling attachement for MOE handguards.
October '11 - PMAG 30G for H&K G36 rifles. Magpul eyes the European market.
November '11 - Magpul MOE Scout light mount for MOE handguard.
November '11 - Magpul STR and ACS-L Stock.

Magpul MOE Scout

While the new MBUS launch was high profile, backup sights being a very important rifle accessory, I believe the MOE+ handguard represents the biggest new innovation at Magpul. They now have the ability to produce accessories with rubber overmolding and I expect to see a lot more accessories with rubber overmolding next year.

What Magpul did not introduce this year is probably more telling than what was introduced. The PMAG 40 was announced in the 2011 catalog but never produced. This product would have been incredibly popular. When I speculated that the product was dead, the Magpul CEO made it clear it was not and they would be introducing it in the future. I hope the PMAG40 does not become vaporware.

Magpul PMAG40

Also announced but not produced were the 5 round, 10 round and 15 round PMAGs. They did introduce 5 and 10 round limiters, but in some jurisdictions round limiters do not make a full-sized magazine legal for hunting. For a company that takes pride in the fact that they never disclose future products, not producing products that made it into the annual catalog is no small thing.

Drawing from Magpul's Quad-Stack Magazine patent

Surefire beat Magpul to the market wit their quad-stack 60 and 100 round AR-15 magazines. Earlier this week Magpul's patent application for a Quad-stack magazine was approved by the USTPO. Magpul's policy is that no employees are allowed to discuss the Quad-Stack magazine. I know this because I have asked a few of them for a comment.

Chris Costa

At the beginning of the year Travis Haley, Magpul Dynamics CEO former-interim CEO of Magpul industries, left the company to form a consulting firm called Haley Strategic Partners. Last month Chris Costa, President of Magpul Dynamics, announced that he was leaving the company. It will be interesting to see how Magpul Dynamics fares without the brand-recognition that Haley and Costa had. In the blogosphere, a popular blogger usually takes his audience with him when he or she moves to another blog. I suspect the fans of Haley and Costa will follow them, regardless of the company they work for.

This year was certainly interesting, but were the new products announced exciting or lackluster? I was disappointed that there was not more innovation for their consumer customers. The new H&K G36 PMAG is not aimed at US consumers, but at military and LE users of the H&K G36.

What are my predictions for Magpul in 2012? I suspect the quad-magazine will be announced, as will the PMAG40. These products will be big sellers. If the PMAG60 or PMAG100 can be made to work with the M27 Infantry Automatic Rifle, Magpul could make a lot of money by nabbing a contract with the USMC. As I said before, I predict a few more products which have rubber overmolding. 2012 is going to be an interesting year.

My way out there prediction is this: Magpul will introduce a 1911 accessory in 2012!

What do you predict Magpul will introduce in 2012? Sound off in the comments.

Night Warrior TM - Review

私たちのブログを訪問していただきありがとうございます。あなたがお持ちの場合DIYの要求は私達に電子メールを送信してください。

With the apparent success of the huge array of 1911 warrior models produced by Tokyo Marui, it was probably no great surprise to anyone when Tokyo Marui released another one, the night warrior.

This time they chose to produce a modified Warrior style gun. The TM is in the style of, but not an exact replica the Kimber warrior

As with most TM releases, the Night Warrior has received huge amounts of praise and I was interested to see how much was justified.

In the Box

TM guns are nicely presented. The box lid features smart artwork showing the Night Warrior and this time no claims of Hi Kick nor Hi Grouping.

Inside, there is the gun, the magazine in a separate section (with space for the magazine fitted in gun, too, allowing two to be stored in the box), a barrel cleaning tool (no-one else bothers with this), and manuals. There is also a small bag of .2g BBs, a 1911 bushing tool and two pieces of plastic replacements for the magazine bb loaders.

First Impressions

Lying in the box, the gun looks pretty good. The markings on the slide, though totally fake, are (as you expect of TM) sharp, broad and clearly moulded. The gun has a two tone of black which gives a distinguishing difference from the traditional all black pistols.

Picking the gun up, I was immediately struck by how light it felt. Of course, it looks like warrior, so I was making a sub-conscious association with those, but somehow the gun felt odd. Weighing it showed it was actually not far off the weight of a warrior, so, at first, I was at a loss to explain the feeling.

The grip is plastic, with the distinctive warrior design. Lower frame is metal, with the usual Tokyo Marui markings - Clearly this was somewhere where TM felt they could not compromise.
Other metal parts include the ambidextrous thumb and grip safety, hammer, magazine release and the slide lock.

The Night Warrior engraving on the left side of the slide also is properly done, although from my search I couldn’t find a Night Warrior gun with similar markings.

Closer Look

Aside from the fact that it is very light, what do you expect it is ABS plastic.

Anyway, that gripe over, the general finish is good. The slide has the curved style of earlier and standard 1911s.

The cone style outer barrel is plastic, and nicely grooved like the Hi-Capa series. The plastic bushing is in silver.

The grip safety and thumb safeties are painted black and made of metal. These seem fine and work correctly, but the silver painted hammer is not so good. Firstly, it is too shiney, with cheap chrome paint.

Of course, this is not a replica of anything, so the trademarks are fake. However, they look pretty good and there are so many aftermarket slides for real 1911s, that few could positively prove that the markings are NOT present on some real steel 1911 variant, somewhere. On the left of the slide, the gun is marked "Nigh Warrior Combat Custom". Ahead of that, over the trigger the frame is marked "Tokyo Marui", "Made in Japan" and "ASGK".

The sights have white dots where they would be useful in dark indoor skirmishes. The metal frame is good, albeit a little light, with a smooth finish.

Inside, the hop-up adjustment is a simple rotary operation, but it does require the gun to be stripped down, not a trivial task, to adjust it, something WA and KSC have moved away from entirely. Having said that, most reports suggest TM's hop-up is very good and likely to stay set once you have set it to suit.

Shooting Impressions

The kick is lacking compared to the Hi-Capa series.

Again consistent with Tokyo Marui is the good grouping. Using standard .20 bbs, the Night Warrior proved a capable, if not excellent, performer.

The best 5 grouping was 1.5 inch (4.0 CM) across, which is good, but puts it in only in the top 40 of GBBs that I have tested.

Over 7 shots, the TM Night Warrior averaged 72 mps (using Laylax 152a gas and TM .2g BBs) indoors (at 21C).

1 – 75m/s
2 – 73m/s
3 – 73m/s
4 – 72m/s
5 – 71 m/s
6 – 69 m/s
7 – 68 m/s

Take Down

Take down is just like any 1911 pistol.
With the magazine removed, the slide is pushed back until the slide lock can be pushed through the frame. With that done, the slide, barrel and recoil rod & spring can be pulled back off the frame as unit.

With the recoil spring removed, by withdrawing the bushing from the front of the slide, the barrel unit, with it's fixed chamber, can be pushed forward out of the slide.

Conclusions

Overall, I found the TM Night Warrior an able and capable gun.

It is a budget gun, with some rather cheap looking parts and power and accuracy are only good, at 5m anyway, rather than exceptional.

If you REALLY want a 2011 warrior style gun at a budget price, with the promise of good range, you might want to consider a TM Night Warrior and there are already many aftermarket accessories to improve the performance and (posssibly) the appearance of it.

If I had come to this gun completely cold, I would have said it's a competent performer, but nothing to get excited about, so I guess that should be my conclusion.

Weight : 950g (400g magazine)

Lithium Polymer Batteries

私たちのブログを訪問していただきありがとうございます。あなたがお持ちの場合DIYの要求は私達に電子メールを送信してください。

Understanding Lipoly Batteries

To simplify, Lipolies come with 5 values. This is the S, P, A, V and C ratings.

The S rating indicates how many cells there are. Usually, each cell comes in 3.7 volts each. So a 1S has 3.7 volts, 2S has 7.4 volts and 3S 11.1 volts. In contrast, NiCd & NiMh batteries come in 1.2 volts each.

The P rating makes it complicated. This comes into play when batteries are used in parralel to increase amperage. 1P means one battery SET. So a battery stating 3S2P 1100mAh means you've 2 sets of 11.1 volts 1100mAh batts that you've put together in parallel to increase the amperage for a grand total of 2200mAh. Ergo if you want to fire long, let's say you're getting into an overnight game & don't want to recharge... there's no need to purchase the expensive high Amp lipolies. You can simply get two lower lipoly batts and link them in parallel (meaning red & red, black & black) to increase amps - this is not the best scenario, but it works.

The A rating stands for Amperage. Generally speaking this talks about how long your battery will hold a particular current. The larger the value, the longer your gun keeps firing.

V rating stands for Voltage. As mentioned earlier, the number of cells (or S) affects this. Lipolies come in 3.7 volts, 7.4 volts, 11.1 volts, 14.8 volts, 18.5 volts and 22.2 volts.

Finally, we have the least understood part of a battery which is the "C" Rating. The simplest way to describe how C rating works is as follows:

Get a big bucket. Fill it up with water. That's your amps. Now drill ten holes at the bottom of the bucket. Lets just say that the amount of water that comes out is equivalent to 10C. So if you have a lipoly that's 12C... drill another 2 holes for a total of 12. So more water comes out, right? At 15C, you've 15 holes. That's more power that your battery can deliver quickly. So in effect having a 15C battery gives off more power which gives you a higher ROF.

So if you want to use lipolies but have a normal ROF - just get a lipoly battery with a very low C Rating. 8C or 10C. They're far cheaper than the standard 12C batts. Likewise, go visit RC Hobby Shops. The quality of the batts are to die for.

There are very few people in the RC community who fiddle around with the lipolies, why? Its risky. Even among the electronic engineers who do radio control, it is NOT recommended that you open a lipoly pack.

For a 2200 mAh battery, a 15C battery tends to supply power quickly. So if you need a high ROF, this works. An 8C battery also of 2200mAh, will still supply power for a long time. However, it does so it trickles. So expect your ROF to be low. BUT, it'll keep shooting for a very very long time.

One more note on C rating. The C rating affects amperage. At 10C, your amps are exactly what they are on the label. So a 1700mAh 10C battery has exactly 1700mAh. But at 12C, the same 1700mAh battery actually has a total of 2040mAh. At 15C, 1700mAh batts have a total of 2550mAh.

If you want to fire the whole day without changing lipolies... you've a choice between 3200mAh at 12C, or 1600mAh at 20C, or 2100mAh at 15C. In effect, they'll each last as about as long as the other.

Echigoya Buffer Tube compared to Tokyo Marui

We all know that Tokyo Marui use diecast metal in the construction of their AEGs. In Echigoya we always strive to give airsofter the best quality in the products they buy.

Here is a simple comparison test between the Echigoya Buffer Tube for Rechoil Shock series compared to the Tokyo Marui.
While Tokyo Marui’s Buffer Tube is diecast, Echigoya is CNC machined from a solid of aircraft grade aluminum.

Notice the exceptional detailing on the left compared to the right.

Decorative threads on Tokyo Marui is not implemented in Echigoya’s buffer tube.

Again the detailing and precision machining is very evident on the Echigoya brand.

3 problems in Tokyo Marui Buffer Tube. 1-the threads gets scratched so easily, 2 & 3- try removing and putting the screws back in a couple of times and you would surely loose the threads on this metal. Echigoya addressed all this problems with their Buffer Tube.
Another thing that Echigoya improved over the Tokyo Marui is the insides of the tube. While Tokyo Marui is tapered and has guide rail (tried to get photos but it would not show), Echigoya has not, the reason being to reduce the impact stress of the recoil unit (shown below side by side).

They are both available here

First Hand Look at the HiCAPA 5.1 Match Custom

The New Tokyo Marui HiCAPA Match Custom has arrived at our store today.
