Paired with an Aimpoint CompM4s, the 9mm LAR-9 SBR is a much more potent package than any handgun due to its increased accuracy, effective range and ammunition capacity.
Despite the short barrel, RRA’s LAR-9 still features plenty of rail space on the free-floating quad-rail forend for accessories, along with the flattop receiver.
The LAR-9 fires from a closed bolt, increasing accuracy. Also note the wide shell deflector, which helps keep hot brass from interfering with operators.

There is an ongoing project to fund a documentary about Lt. Murphy. Called "MURPH: The Extraordinary Life of LT Michael Murphy, United States Navy SEAL" the project is now at Indiegogo.com awaiting funding from backers, the amount of US$75,000. But so far, the amount raised is US$8,740 as of this writing. While the initial stages of the documentary is being funded internally, when the main production up to post-production and distribution commence, their costs will go up and thus, they are hoping that those who appreciate the sacrifice that Lt. Murphy made is worth this documentary to provide the funds they need.

As you might have already experienced, low quality clones have terrible lenses that are too dark to see in mid-lit environments, and even in well-lit ones. :)
However, the Hurricane’s lenses are clear and transparent. I could see clearly through them without any weird coloring or shading.
Another point I think is where many others (clones) fail is the brightness intensity of the reticle that usually is too dim for outdoors.
Being a replica of the EOTech XPS3, it is remarkably similar and it uses, like the real one, a single CR123A battery and features an O-ring, tethered cap which is quite convenient and easy to replace. According to Thunder Sports, the Hurricane is moisture resistant, so you shouldn’t worry about occasional rain, but avoid dipping it in water.
