Paired with IO’s 3-9×40 Rubber Armored Scope, the Sporter AK is a tough and reliable American-made variant ready for patrol duty.



While there is no bolt hold-open device, the safety lever is very easy to operate, with the up position for “safe” and down for “fire.”



The Sporter has a standard single-stage AK trigger with a 3.5-pound pull. Also note the ambidextrous paddle magazine release.
