Rock River Arms LAR-PDS 5.56mm

私たちのブログを訪問していただきありがとうございます。あなたがお持ちの場合DIYの要求は私達に電子メールを送信してください。

The AR has evolved into a modular, cleaner-running, close-quarter carbine!

The 5.56mm LAR-PDS, shown equipped with a Swarovski Z6i 1-6x24mm BRT scope and Weaver Tactical Bipod, is a piston-operated AR with a true folding stock system.

With the recoil spring assembly located above the barrel, the LAR-PDS is free to employ a side-folding/collapsing stock assembly.
For this reason, new weapon systems like the FN SCAR and Bushmaster ACR generated a lot of buzz in the combat rifle arena. The problem with both of these designs is that, while they tackled the most popular AR problems, they were not ARs; meaning, they were not compatible with the vast majority of AR-dedicated parts and accessories.

SIG ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ 1911

私たちのブログを訪問していただきありがとうございます。あなたがお持ちの場合DIYの要求は私達に電子メールを送信してください。

SIG is producing a special edition 1911 featuring the famous phrase "ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ" (Molon Labe / 'Come Take') engraved on the frame and grip. The phrase is engraved the same way as it is inscribed on the monument at Thermopylae that commemorates the famous battle that took place there in 480 BC.

The pistol has an attractive dark bronze finish.

Springfield XDM40 from Tokyo Marui

私たちのブログを訪問していただきありがとうございます。あなたがお持ちの場合DIYの要求は私達に電子メールを送信してください。

How come I forgot to do a little review of this new toy, the Tokyo Marui XDM40. Ooh, it was during the Shotshow 2012 when I got our hands on this baby and we have gotten busy back then.

Anyway, I will give you guys a little of my impression from this new toy from Tokyo Marui.

The box looks really good, specially the XDM logo which is gloss emboosed and really stands out.

In the box, the gun looks good. It is the usual styropor box.

The gun's frame is made of plastic but the finish is fantastic. Looking at it it doesn't even look like a toy. The lower frame looks like it is made from polymer and upper looks like its made of metal. Tokyo Marui scored a big one in this gun.

There7s a picatinny rail for light or laser attachments, and under it there is a metal plate which serves as a safety similar to their glock series (but who uses them anyway).

Really good alignment of contours on the upper and lower.

The sight is realy good, white dots which is really visible even on low light conditions.

Shown cocked

Grip looks great, exact replica of the real one, including the markings.

Tokyo Marui markings on the mag base, consistent with their pistols.

Engraved serial number and XDM logo on the slide,

and also on the ejection port.

In this photo you can clearly see the imitated black colorings of the polymer frame and the metal slide.

The metal sticking out at the back of the slide is the indication if it is cocked or not. Another feature is the safety on the grip similar to 1911 pistols.

The gun comes with two extra interchangeable large and small grips for those with big/small hands.

Takedown is similar to Sig P226. Turn the left lever upwards and pull the slide out in the front.

That is also how to access the hop dial at the base of the inner barrel.

And good news for those who want other color variation. By looking closely at the box there is a label that this says this is a "Black Slide x Black Frame" model. So wait for a few more months and we would probably see Tan, OD and silver variations.

Cabot Guns releases a south paw 1911

私たちのブログを訪問していただきありがとうございます。あなたがお持ちの場合DIYの要求は私達に電子メールを送信してください。

One of the more enjoyable stops we made at SHOT this year was at the Cabot Guns booth. The gentlemen working the booth truly were gentlemen, and with a love for their craft. While I could have sat and talked with them for hours about the 1911s they make, we only had a short time. Cabot Guns is making a left handed 1911, and they state on their website “The South Paw is the only left-handed 1911 style pistol available in the market. The South Paw is precision constructed from 4140 billet steel to extreme tolerances. The South Paw, like all Cabot Gun firearms, is designed to exceed National Match accuracy standards right out of the box.” When you start talking about CNC work down to 0.001 inches, you are in an entirely new realm of 1911 machining.

Cabot Guns 1911s in lefty or regular version aren’t cheap, but the 1911 game isn’t really one to jump into if you are squeaking out coins, especially if you want to reach for the top shelf.
