Sig Sauer M400 5.56mm

Tactical AR carbine with Swiss precision and classic DGIS operation!

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. And when it comes to Eugene Stoner’s original direct gas impingement system (DGIS), that is exactly the feeling of many AR rifle fans. In all fairness, the AR platform has been successfully serving militaries worldwide, including our own, for more than 40 years.

The SIG M400 is a traditional direct gas impingement system AR carbine with key improvements that is ready for duty use. Shown equipped with the Aimpoint Patrol Rifle Optic with 3X Magnifier.

This may explain why Sig Sauer, which originally entered the AR market with the gas piston-driven SIG516, is now offering its M400 variant, a true-blue direct gas impingement semi-auto AR carbine. Chambered in 5.56×45 mm NATO, the M400 appears and operates like a standard AR but with many unique Sig Sauer enhancements that set this rifle apart. The result is a high-quality AR ideal for law enforcement patrol use.

Quick-detach sling attachment points are machined directly into the lower of the M400, making ambidextrous use of a sling simple and easy.

How a 150-year-old Swiss wagon manufacturer started making muskets for their nation’s military and ended up manufacturing some of the best AR rifles in the U.S. is undoubtedly a long and interesting story. Unquestionably, “Swiss-made” is synonymous with quality, and when it comes to their national defense this commitment to reliability, effectiveness and attention to detail is carried to the Nth degree.

The oval polymer handguards feature double aluminum heat shields that effectively kept the rifle cool, protecting the shooter.

Combat-Ready Plate Carriers

私たちのブログを訪問していただきありがとうございます。あなたがお持ちの場合DIYの要求は私達に電子メールを送信してください。

TYR’s lightweight, ergonomic plate carriers

Mission adaptable, TYR’s Pals Adapter Panels can hold more plates or magazines.

Norse pagans of the early Middle Ages believed in supernatural beings and many gods. Tyr was one of those gods, and he symbolized single combat, victory and heroic glory in Norse mythology. Interestingly, “single combat” is considered a duel between two individual warriors that takes place within the context of a battle between two armies. Everyone else looked upon these two warriors as the true champions of each side—the best.

TYR’s PICO Assaulters Plate Carrier can fit 12×9 plates, and has an antimicrobial mesh on the inside part of the vest. Even on a warm day, the vest won’t feel too hot.

After spending several days wearing one of TYR Tactical’s plate carriers, the meaning behind the name starts to settle in a little deeper. Someone took time and effort researching the name and what it means, and how it would convey a message to the current and future users of the product. They also took into consideration what the name means to those developing, engineering, testing and manufacturing the product. It’s no small undertaking, and it’s what the very best companies do when they are serious about who they are and their intended goals. It’s easy enough to pull some cool-sounding name out of the air, but this name involves specifics, detail, and mindset.

No shortcuts taken here—the mesh and padding carry over to the side panels. TYR has done a great job with this design.

Mission-Ready Outfitting

Now it’s making sense. I’ve been looking for this plate carrier for roughly four years. Maybe not this specific one, but a version just like it. I introduce to you the TYR Tactical PICO Assaulters Plate Carrier, Version 2. This is a standalone carrier. You might describe it as the lightest, most comfortable, extremely durable plate carrier you can lay your hands on in today’s market. It fits right, is comfortable and should allow you to set it up to your personal liking. If you’re an end-user who must wear one of these all day everyday, the weight savings should be a major factor and attraction for you.

HiCAPA Custom Match

私たちのブログを訪問していただきありがとうございます。あなたがお持ちの場合DIYの要求は私達に電子メールを送信してください。

The New Tokyo Marui HiCAPA Match Custom. It comes with a silver colored box, but on the inside it is the same HiCAPA styropor box. It comes with the standard HiCAPA Manual and additional Match Custom cover page. The new shining magazine looks so inviting so we tested already and our chronometer shows a consistent power of 83 meter/second (room temperature), although we got a reading of 85-87m/s on an extended magazine. The double tap speed is almost the same as of the HiCAPA series.

The gun is a little bit lighter due to the cuts to the upperside and lowerside of it. The cut looks really good and in perfect symmetry. The fibre optic front sight looks great and it helps us aim in low light condition.

The package also includes an underside rail for light or laser attachment, can be installed using two screws which are provided. Although you can place the rail in its proper place, you still have to drill the holes for the screw, which I am a little disappointed why they made it that way. There’s also a groove on the lower part of the slide for installing rails for optics.

Another thing that they included in the box is a patch of nonslip grip tape, again the disappointment comes when I found out that there is no die-cutting on the tape. But it did come with a template for cutting it, so I guess Tokyo Marui is expecting users to do it themselves, Extra design templates are available at Tokyo Marui website.

All in all, is it a very nice and sturdy gun, another plus for Tokyo Marui. I would highly recommend this gun for IPSC beginners, who likes accuracy and speed. Although it still need a lot of mods and accessories to make this gun a really excellent IPSC gun.

Dynamic Covert .308

The DTA bullpup SRS gets wrung out Magpul Dynamics’ Precision Rifle Course!

Tailor-made for the urban SWAT sniper, the DTA Covert can deploy quickly, fully assembled, from within vehicles.

Modern warfare has not seen a sniper/counter-sniper environment of this type since the battle for Stalingrad. The open desert and urban environments of Iraq, the crags and peaks of Afghanistan, paired with an unconventional insurgent enemy, created a vast battlefield of long-range engagements at the individual soldier’s level. But unlike the force-multipliers of previous conflicts, modern snipers and their spotters are a highly trained, tightly specialized and integrated part of both tactical and strategic operations—registering kills at over 2,600 yards.

From this environment, the precision rifle community has seen advances in optics, ballistics, munitions and doctrine. Lessons learned have taken military, law enforcement and recreational shooters to new levels of proficiency. Magpul Dynamics brings one warrior of that battlefield, former Marine Scout Sniper Caylen Wojcik, and the lessons of those conflicts to today’s precision shooter.
